The Aqua Green BRC 15 series is a heat-resistant biopolymer dispersion coating designed specifically to replace traditional wax and polyethylene (PE) papers in packaging applications. These coatings are applied as a viscous liquid using common industrial methods like gravure or flexo coating.

Our coatings offer a Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR) comparable to poly-coated paper. More critically, our products achieve the highest possible result on the TAPPI T-559 KIT Test (Value 12) for Oil and Grease Resistance (OGR). Thermal Versatility
Our D95 coating allows for heat-sealable biodegradable packaging that withstands temperatures from boiling liquids (up to 140°C) to deep-freeze applications (down to -38°C). Our D19 coating enables the creation of microwavable paper containers, handling heat up to 230°C.
Certified Safety
The materials are certified for direct food contact and are entirely solvent-free and odorless. They comply with US FDA regulations (21 CFR 176.170 & 176.180) for contact with aqueous, fatty, and dry foods. Furthermore, EPM guarantees the absence of hazardous substances, ensuring the coatings are PFAS-Free (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) and Phthalate-Free.
